Nearby the town, you can find the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy mountain range (available in about 30 minutes by car ) that is the biggest preserved landscape region in the Czech Republic. In Beskydy you can find numerous touristic routes; at their foot golf courses (Ostravice, Čeladná) are situated, horse riding centers for horse lovers (REIT – Morávka), and downhill courses in winter seasons, including downhill courses with artificial lighting and cross-country skiing routes.

A distance from the Hotel into the historical center of Místek is 500 m, into a historical center of Frýdek 1100 m. A new Mošnov airport check-out hall is situated approx. 19 km from the Hotel RICHT, taking about 20 minutes by car.
The center of the town Frýdek – Místek offers you everything starting from small shops, theatres and cinemas, health centers, up to hairdressers, cosmetic salons and fitness center. The winter stadium, swimming pool, tennis courts, football playgrounds, as well as any and all sports are easily available from the Hotel. The castle – formerly a Gothic seigniorial castle from 14th century serving to protection of a trading route at the provincial border – was reconstructed in the Baroque style. It contains the Museum of Beskydy. The current castle offers a review of a new castle route comprising castle interiors, knight hall with 35 coats of arms of the Silesian aristocracy, examples of old times furniture, sightseeing tower – gloriette, St. Barbora Chapel, and other places of interest.
Olešná aqua park
The summer aqua park is one of the biggest and most up-to-date stainless aqua parks in the Czech Republic. It is situated at pleasant environment of the Olešná dam with a view of the Beskydy mountain range, and it offers various recreation and relaxation activities. The roofed aqua park is a park of a complex, providing unforgettable experiences to children and adults for the whole year. Just to mention some of many attractions – it is a wild river, toboggan, stream channel, children center, and wellness.
The mountain site Pustevny (1018 m) – named according to hermits having lived there - is dominated by wood structures in a folk style. A significant Slovakian architect Dušan Jurkovič designed wood log cabin structures with rich stylized decor (Libušín and Maměnka). A seat lift from Trojanovice offers the most interesting and surely most convenient travelling to Pustevny.
The Tarzanie mountain cable park situated in Trojanovice offers cable and adrenalin activities for a whole family. Barrier routes are of various difficulties starting from the easiest ones up to special adrenalin challenge. In Tarzanie you can find also other entertaining attractions such as trampolines, trikke (travel by a riotously amusing car ) or tarbing (balling in a transparent ball).
Landek Park Ostrava
The Landek Park coal mine museum is the biggest museum in the Czech Republic. It includes a well—preserved area of the Anselm Coal Mine. In addition to surface exposition of machines and equipments, underground exposition, and mining rescuing exposition, you can find there also reconstruction of settlements of mammoth hunters. The area comprises also many sport places such playground for beach volleyball, tennis courts, cyclo-cross route or paddling and cable center.
The Hukvaldy castle – formerly one of the biggest Moravian castles – was built continuously from the end of 13th century up to a half of 18th century. Its main role was to guard an important trading route connecting Olomouc and Krakov. Currently, it is a partially restored castle ruin and scene of the International Music Festival of Janáček's Hukvaldy as well as other interesting cultural events.
Stodolní Street in Ostrava
You will enjoy this street since it never sleeps! You can find it at the center of the City of Ostrava. It is a unique phenomenon of the Ostrava social life. Infinite numbers of events and music styles, various clubs with miscellaneous interiors. The street itself and its surrounding comprise tens of Bars and restaurants frequently visited by young and middle-age generations.
A castle ruin with a dominant Gothic tower you cannot fail to notice – Trůba that serves as an observation tower. The Štramberk castle was established at the end of 13th century as a center of the remaining provincial noble estate. Nearby a town park called Národní sad is situated, comprising a gallery of sculptures, and Šipka cave, that became famous due to “Šipecká čelist“ (Šipka Jaw) finding. The local well-known Štramberk ears – gingerbread cornets – are probably most popular there.
